About Francis Tracy Upholstery.
There’s just two of us in the team at Francis Tracy Upholstery, myself, Francis Mark, but everyone just calls me Mark and my wife and business partner Tracy. Between us we run a small upholstery business from a workshop near our home in Middle Wallop Stockbridge.
We have several decades of business experience in interior and home ware retailing and during our time together we have dealt in antiques, restored lighting and furniture and more recently taken a much more active interest in upholstered furniture and soft furnishings. We also currently own and run a gift and lifestyle shop, One Brown Cow, in Amesbury, Wiltshire, near Stonehenge where you can find lamp shades, the odd chair and cushions all made by Mark and available for purchase.
About our Upholsterer:
Mark has recently completed upholstery studies under the Association of Master Upholsterers and Soft Furnishers (AMUSF) syllabus graduating from stage two, intermediate craft certificate, with distinctions in his practical work for both modern and traditional upholstery and furthered his knowledge by successfully completing AMUSF stage three; diploma, again excelling with distinctions in both modern and traditional techniques.
Mark is also an accomplished lampshade maker and continues to develop his skills through practical experience and work undertaken at our workshop.
